Second hand ECB Hydrotherapy equine spa

"More time in Competition less time in the paddock"

The hydrotherapy horse spa unit is used to assist the healing of:

  • Tendon and Ligament injuries
  • Sore Shins
  • Jarr-up
  • Fractures and splints
  • Cuts and infections of the lower leg
  • Post operative complications
  • Healing of wounds
  • Acceleration of hoof growth
  • It also can be used as a preventative treatment for:

    • Sore shins
    • Windgalls
    • Inflamed joints
    • Jarr-up

Equisea's equine spa achieves fast, long-term hydrotherapy treatment through a combination of various factors:

  • Cold water (set between 2 deg.0C and 4 deg.0C
  • Aeration (providing a massage element)
  • Salt (long established in general healing and acts as a poultice, drawing out fluid)
  • Variable depth option for accurate treatment

Clinical trials have shown that the combined elements provide an unusually high level of oxygen in the water which is thought to aid healing. The ultra cool temperature and salinity of the water combine to increase the therapeutic qualities of both sea water and fresh running water in their natural states.
